ShareSkill App - UI Design
Project Overview: ShareSkill is a community-driven ecosystem designed to democratize education by removing financial barriers. The concept is simple but powerful: a “Skill Barter” system. Users exchange their expertise (e.g., Graphic Design) for the skills they want to learn (e.g., Coding), creating a sustainable cycle of mutual growth without currency.
The Challenge (Problem): High-quality education is often expensive, and self-learning through videos can feel isolating. The main UX challenge was to design a Trust-Based System where strangers feel comfortable teaching each other. Additionally, the system needed a logical way to match users with compatible “Supply and Demand” of skills.
The Solution (Design & Logic): I designed a platform focused on Social Learning and Compatibility:
The Matching Algorithm (Concept): I structured the user flow to match users not just by skill category, but by proficiency level (Beginner/Expert) to ensure balanced exchanges.
Trust-Centric Profile: Designed comprehensive user profiles featuring ratings, portfolios, and “Verified Skill” badges to build credibility before users connect.
Integrated Collaboration: To keep users within the app, I designed a built-in “Virtual Classroom” interface with video and whiteboard capabilities, removing the need to switch to Zoom/Meet.

The Result: A high-fidelity prototype that promotes a collaborative economy, proving that professional development can be accessible to everyone through community support.
